A boring ole week

 This week started out with a visit with an old friend. Madison Storms. If you recognize that name you're an OG. She reached out to me last week checking in on me and asking if she could do anything for me. I thought it was really sweet of an old friend, one I haven't spoken to or seen in a long long time, to reach out to me with concern after my now best friend had passed away. I don't know - not that I need people to help me, but it was nice knowing she was thinking about me. Anyways - we ended up getting together Monday night and it was good. We sat and talked for hours, caught up on life and our families. 

Lots have changed and other things have stayed the same - I still tower over her haha. 

Self care every day. This week has been pretty ok. I worked Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday I had an all day lecture for school. It was alright besides the final lecture being about how to communicate during sensitive exams or to sensitive populations. The first part was alright but then as many of you can imagine it took a turn down the wrong road. I think it's pretty messed up that as masters level medical providers we are being taught to avoid scientific language with transgenders and that there are indeed multiple genders that we need to learn to care for. I could go into more detail, but I'll spare you. Friday and Saturday was back to work. The easiest days of work Ive had in awhile. And by boring - I mean completely and totally boring. I love it. 

Friday after work called for a dutchy. I have had like three of these a week the last couple weeks. I believe it's a part of my coping ahah. Plus I found a new flavor I love and I wish Erin was here to rave about it with me. 

Saturday Sethy called me. It was fun to talk to him. He pretty much flipped his kendama around the whole time, but good to see him. 

That's about it. I could probably go into more detail about the week, but honestly don't feel like it haha. Tired and unmotivated should be the title of this week. cuz that's what I am.
