welp this week was a good one, pretty boring/normal other than plans with Jesse actually happened so that's something worth documenting! I worked a two day week - I took a random day off to have an extra long weekend which was well spent in st George. Nothing to report about at work - actually Im supposed to be getting a pretty big paycheck here soon and a nice pay raise so thats exciting. Other than that work is work and when I actually think about it I still can't believe Im a nurse just doing nurse things. and like Ive been doing this now to where its boring haha. I guess its perfect timing to move on to something more challenging... I still need to start seriously looking for jobs. But I decided this week to get'er done and I paid the massive fee to actually become licensed (instead of waiting around to find a job) and this month Ill finish off the process by getting my finger prints done and applying for my DEA then Ill be set. ANYWAYS let's get to the fun part of the week aka my days off. I was actually very productive with a lot of boring things this week including what I mentioned above, but Thursday also included some botox and quality time with Jesse Dean. She's been avoiding me the last 6 months, but I finally lured her in with some tox. She came over and after two hours of chatting I was like "wait we should probably do your botox real quick" then we talked another hour or so. It was good to catch up and very much needed. She's living a fun life with fun people in vineyard and she wants to introduce me to her 5 bazillion friends - yikes! My social anxiety is already seeping through, but we'll see. Jesses 26th birthday was on Saturday, but she had to work, so Ashley, Jess and I celebrated over our favorite pizza and dessert place on Friday night. Can you guess where?? Slackwater and the chocolate woohoo!

Makes me happy we are all still friends.
We spent the rest of the night driving around benson Boones house and talking and laughing way too late at jesses place. I haven't stayed up with friends till 1am in a longgg timeee. Saturday morning I obviously slept in because I didn't go to bed till after 2am, but then immediately got a good run in at 11am.

It was a pretty mental gritty run. Im proud of myself for A. running six miles and not stopping and B. actually running at a decent pace. I averaged 8:08 pace. I actually think doing all my thousands of steps during the week does help my running. Like tonight I have walked almost 18,000 steps and it's only 3:45am. Doing that every day might actually be conditioning my legs?? IDK, but Im really not running a lot and I feel like Im improving on my endurance so we'll take it. Also I love the weather right now. After my run I didn't have too many plans for the rest of the day so I spent the next couple of hours walking and just sitting out in the sun. So dang nice. So speaking of no plans on this Saturday - I was supposed to go on a date, but the kid never messaged me. So I sat around most of the day like an idiot waiting for him to make plans when I finally decided to take myself on a date that night.

To the temple! Im convinced no one will treat me as good as I treat myself soooo. Then I enjoyed the rest of the evening in my pjs watching traitors and going to be early. Love that for me. Today I woke up for church, but when I got there no one was in the parking lot. I have no clue why my ward decided to disappear today, but instead I braved a family ward. It was pretty good. I enjoyed no one trying to talk to/hit on me and I like watching all the babies so we'll say it was a win. Not sure if I'll continue going there or not, but I needed to go to church somewhere today! I realized today I still hadn't even downloaded the gospel library app on my phone since getting this new phone. Which throws me under the bus how terribly awful I am at reading scriptures. so I downloaded it today and Im going to try extra hard this week to read. (I just really hate reading, I have already listened to a talk though so there's that). Little steps to be a little bit better I guess and have a little more Jesus in my life. Alright thats a wrap on my week, now I'm back at work enjoying my two patient night. Talked to Jackie, ate some chicken and rice (Seths recipe :/ ), lots of walking and yeah life's good. until next week 👋
