Eleven down, one more to go.

I think I say this every week, but it's been a week. A grind that is. But successful. To start off this week I worked Sunday at the VA - a good weekend shift. Monday was spent in clinic and Monday night was spent finishing my final paper that I had procrastinated terribly. Luckily it wasnt too long of a paper, I think requirements were anywhere between 5-8 pages. Well I had written about two pages of the paper at some point but lost momentum. SO Monday night at 9pm I finally sat down to finish it. Nothing like three hours before its due to get me motivated to actually do it. I blame it on being burnt out. Ive been going to school non-stop for years and I can say it's finally catching up to me that I'm ready to be done. I have lost all motivation to do any homework - so pray I can get through this last two month term.

this is how I feel 24/7 these days haha. I turned in my paper around 11pm, and as soon as my head hit the pillow I could feel my throat getting sore. typical. I knew I had been stressed the last couple of weeks with finals, but I guess my body knew it only had a few days to get sick before the stress of a new term hit. SO here I am - sick. I will say though - some good news, I received approval for my next preceptor so that alleviates some stress heading into my last two months. As far as I can see as of now - I should graduate on time, but I don't want to jinx it haha. Oh and I ended up getting a 90% on my paper, not bad for BSing it with only three hours till it was due.

this was me the next day at work. Sore throat just got worse throughout the day with the additional body aches and chills which are the cherry on top. But I got through the day plus two more clinic days after that.

In celebration of my last day of clinic (completing 405/540 hours) I got myself a pumpkin chocolate milk from dutchy. Luckily my last two days of clinic were pretty chill and boring. My sore throat still there with some nice congestion to round out my typical cold that I get every few weeks in the winter time. It just especially sucks when ya got a lot to do. But lucky me - I had nothing on the to do list for the weekend besides self care and sleep.

Drove home to St. George after clinic on Thursday and started off my weekend with a massage that night. It was a painful one - I blame my poor back muscles being so tight from trying to make up from my dysfunctional spine. But pain is beauty and in this case hopefully pain is recovery?? IDK.

Friday was a shopping day with mom - we bought a lot. It's what we do best. lets just say mom has a lot of jeans and says "I don't need anymore jeans" well she left with three new pairs. haha. Im the same with jackets though so I can't talk.

Crashing date night as usual. We love mad pita. Dad is chaddin' it up.

Then spent the evening with grandma. It's honestly the best surprising her at the beehive home and seeing her light up when she turns around and see's you. We drove up the highway to dammeron valley. I wanted to find a tarantula so we went huntin', but sadly no luck. We did, however, enjoy a nice sunset and it's always nice to get out and go for a little adventure.

Ended the night with our signature Dairy Queen pit stop, but I had grandma branch out a bit from her plain chocolate shake. Instead we got frozen hot chocolates. I think she liked it.

Saturday I felt a little more blahg than I did on Friday so I have literally sat on the couch all day watching TV and most importantly cheering on BYU to win over Iowa state. Great game. Started out a little stressful - but I think that's just how they play haha. Ended up winning by two touchdowns with a score of 41-27. Sad next week they have a bye week (sad for me), but good for them as they prepare for the next few tough games. Well that is my week so far. It's Saturday night currently. Seth is out with friends, drew and Emma are at a halloween party up north, Mom and Dad are at stake conference, and Im chilling at home still on the couch. Honestly living the life. Oh and can't forget about Jack - he's asleep is South Africa. doing well btw. He just graduated from training and got a new companion. Well no other updates for me - just need to get healthy before next Wednesday when I get back to work and start my last two classes of NP school. Normally I say time should slow down, but nah let's get these next couple of months over with!! Alright I'll finish the rest of the blog tomorrow if anything happens if not - I'll write next week. peace.
