Hi. Im tired. All I want to do is sleep for the next two weeks straight. Is that too much to ask?? Typical week in the life right now... I got off work Monday morning and drove straight to St. George. I would have slept a little bit before going down, but the only time I had time to make a hair appointment was Monday at noon, so I had to hurry my butt down south on no hours of sleep. I normally can drive to st. george after a night shift with no help from caffeine, but I knew I wasnt going to be sleeping anytime soon when I got down there so I had some assistance from an energy drink - it sure did the trick, for the next 48 hours. Caffeine always bites me in the butt, but it's nice to know it works well on me when I need to stay awake. Anyways - got my hair all done and blonde again for summer. Did some homework when I got home and went to bed fairly early that night (8pm). The next three days were clinic filled. Nothing too crazy to report - lots of diabetes management and discussing weight loss shots. My brain is still fried at the end of every day, but a little bit less than when I started.

Friday was the Pineview track meet - one of the best of the year. I woke up that morning and was super freaking productive. With the very little free time I have - I have to get creative with how to fit everything in. So I needed to take my car in for an oil change so I did that and ran home to also knock out some miles. I then pretty quick headed to the track. I spent the majority of the day watching races and hanging out with the hurst family. Ya know its kind of weird - I love being with them more than ever because it makes me feel closer with Erin, but its so hard being with them because it makes having her be gone so dang real. While cheering on her sisters I fight back tears knowing she should still be here doing this too. I know she's cheering us all on in heaven, but doesn't take away how badly I wish she was still here. It was a good day catching up with them and watching the twins. Jackie raced the 1600 and the 4x800 on Friday. The kid has yet to not PR in a dang race this year and it's really quite impressive. He dropped his mile time down to a 4:23 this weekend and on Saturday ended up dropping his 800 time into the 2 flat range. It really is the highlight of my week watching Jackie race and progress in running.

Plus I think I'm just one of those that peaked in high school running and I miss those days haha. So it's fun to relive the track days through Jackie. Got a nice sunburn through the day and this pretty sky into the night at the meet. I could watch track meets all day long. And I pretty much did besides a little intermission of benjas and chilling at home for about an hour.
The boys 4x800 team placed second - except they got DQ'd for stepping inside the line. lame! oh well - they got state qualifying in the bag so we aren't too worried. Don't worry - mom is happy to be watching jack, even though she might not look like it haha. Well - Saturday morning I headed back up north. I FaceTimed in to watch jack run the open 800 and hit that new PR. Then back to glorious work. Alright that's a wrap on the week. TTYL
