I don't have a good title

Earlier this week started in St. George. Its getting to be that time of year where its still miserably cold and gloomy up north and its sunny and warmish in the south - which means from here until June the out of towners (I don't consider myself an out of towner) take over stg. boooo, but I don't blame them.

Lots and lots of homework was studied and completed this last weekend in stg. Im really looking forward to a summer break. Jackie was in Disneyland with his school choir so we picked him up from desert hills on Sunday night. It was weird not having him there the first few days. Gonna miss the kid when he leaves on his mission.

Dad and I hit up Erth and did some cold plunge / sauna therapy. This week we also both had our final appointments with Dr. Jensen our rheumatologist. He's leaving to Oregon and Im actually so sad. Ever since my first appointment with him Ive been so impressed. My first appointment with him I was seen after hours and it was super last minute - but he spent a legit hour with me going over what was to come and describing this disease to me. And every appointment since then he continues to show how much he cares and how badly he wants the best for me. Anyways - grateful for him and the how he literally saved my life three years ago.

Decided to set an alarm on my day off to get some fresh air and movement. My back has been so bad and life so busy that I really haven't been exercising at all. but I figured Id use this little burst of motivation to my benefit. Except it's frigid outside and like I said earlier - miserable. Work was ok this week I think. I feel like when I was a new nurse each day was just so cool or so hard or whatever so that I would remember what happened a lot more. Now it's just eh. Im definitely in a groove as a nurse and not many things stick out to me anymore I guess haha. So yeah - nothing too exciting there. Still been grinding out school, preparing for my head to toe exam. Excited to get that over with next week.

The highlight of the week was going to the westerner with Madi. Honestly I was excited, but then I started looking up pictures of this place and my social anxiety was really coming through. We almost didn't go because it was intimidating, but I'm glad we did. We did line dance lessons and learned three dances, had some mock-tails and hungout, listened to music and people watched. It was a really fun night.

We are very proud of ourselves for doing something out of our comfort zones and we'll def be going back. This was both of our first times at a bar haha. Livin the life. Happy Super Bowl Sunday to those that celebrate but I don't so instead Im planning on making dinner for a friend, hanging out and most likely doing even more homework! yay me.
