Happy late 21 / Happy 4th of July

Well Im a couple weeks behind obviously but surprise! I turned 21! so super exciting. I worked in mesquite that day and they put together a little something special. Some balloons, a nice card and some cake. Then me and dad had Benjas for dinner. Everyone else was either at lake powell with friends or at baseball so it was pretty quiet.

Benjas with dad, but sadly still take out... thanks rona.

For my birthday I told shawnee I wanted to take her out to bear claw. She hates mountain biking, but she was nice and did it anyways. It was a whopping 98 outside and 7:30 pm which means we had the place to ourselves which was rad. Good evening on the trails.

And more mountain biking Saturday morning with the bros.

seth rock'n his gardening gloves.

Once again... very hot.

Lettie turned the big ONE on the 22nd and we had our first day of back to church wearing masks of course.

bowling with the brothers.

Cute lil taytabug turned 8 on July 2nd so we partied hard with the burgess fam. Nothing better than summer nights in the pool, grilling with family. We swam for a solid five hours and our hair turned green. #twinners.

The boys were hyped up on sugar and playing mario around the backyard. Clawson would run around yelling NANANANA and would jump whenever he needed a "power up". For the Fourth of July we headed up to pine valley. Put in the bean poles, had some lunch, hung out with family and finished off with a classic game of whiffle ball. Oh and homemade ice cream... cant forget that!

Later that evening we were invited to a neighbors house for swimming, food and fireworks. I dipped early and watched the city fireworks with the schimbecks. I definitely miss the days of saving our spots out on the road in front of grandma sullivans and having pizza and homemade root beer with the family, but sadly things change and we grow up. Grateful to live in this beautiful country. We are truly blessed.
