The final state track :'(

 I honestly don't even have that many pictures from this weekend and it makes me kind of sad, but it was Jack (and all together the wells') last and final state track. It's sad to think the time has come and gone for jack on the desert hills xc and track team. Some of my favorite memories and life lessons came from my four years of running. It feels like yesterday, yet my baby brother just finished his time on the running team - crazy. Anyways it was a fun weekend of watching a lot of good racing, some tough finishes, hard falls and victories. Like I said - life lessons. Jackie ran all four events that he worked so hard to qualify for all season long. He didn't hit any crazy PRs or win any gold medals, but it was fun. He ran hard and even though there were no spectacular performances - he proved once again how far he had come and is definitely the most improved runner on the team since freshman year. Im a proud sister, but there's a lot more good things to come from jack in the real world starting here soon. Here's some random shots of Jackie and the beautiful BYU track for the memories...

The rest of my week was three busy days of work - day shift to be exact. Lots of good patients, but definitely a few patients that required more patience than others. Ive realized how jaded I have become as a nurse. I still feel like a new nurse, but this summer marks three years as an RN and it definitely shows in the way Im not as nice anymore haha. I guess I just don't put up with the BS that many old vets like to pull. Anyways - it was a good week of work and I guess it's good to still do day shift every once in awhile so I don't lose my skills of being a busy floor nurse. I talk about realizing how different I am because this week I oriented a new grad nurse and I noticed how many things I used to do that she was doing that I definitely don't do anymore. 

In other news - we headed to Ben-jamins wedding reception Saturday night. Mom and I both went up to Carson Kennedy thinking it was drew - doppelgängers for sure.
