All about Jackie
It's been an extra busy and fun week - all because of jack jack. Feels weird calling him jack jack because he is a literal adult now and that was what we would call him when he was a little bowling ball toddler. Anyways - this week started with heading to California Sunday morning right after sacrament meeting. And if you remember from last week, we had just got back from state track that night. So yes - straight to California where we started off our trip with Sunday dinner at BJ's for some solid food and of course the pazookies. Didn't disappoint - I think all of us should've been rolled out of there after all the food we ate. Monday morning was Knott's Berry Farm day. Its not a trip to LA with out some time at knott's.
We went hard - per usual. Mom got us all fast passes and bought two food passes which meant rides all day long, and food every 90 minutes. We did all the rides as many times as we wanted which included ghost rider 5 times until it literally broke (we were the last riders of the day). Dad even got some ghost rider action. It's a fan favorite for sure. Jack downed a full ice cream sandwich and mom had us all ride the pony express (her favorite ride). It was a good hot day spent at the park. You may be wondering why going to Knott's is "all about Jackie" well the reason we traveled to California was not just for the fun of it but actually to visit the South African Consulate for jack to complete another step in receiving his visa. So yes, this trip was all for jack. But hey - it was dang fun. So Tuesday morning was spent driving to the consulate, getting the appointment over with (it wasnt even a very long appointment), then immediately driving home. Quick trip, but necessary. Oh and if anyone asks - I was throwing up this whole time super super sick and that's why I couldn't make it into work. dang stomach bug. This brings us to our next big jack thing - Graduation!! queue many more photos -

You can take the boy out of track but you can't take track out of the boy. They did one last all out 400 in their gowns and hit an impressive 61ish even with the draft from those parachutes they are wearing. Im gonna miss watching and cheering these boys on in high school running.
Welp - he did it. For a second we were worried it wouldn't happen, but he pulled it off. Im totally kidding - if you've been around jack the last little bit you know about his perfect GPA, his multiple awards, scholarships and student of the months/years on multiple occasions. He may not be humble, but he is pretty dang smart and hard working. His teachers love him (maybe not at first because he would prove them wrong), he was king of the student section and obviously has a ton of friends (that are all dang good kids). Seems like he did high school right. To quote a meme dad sent this morning "Congrats of finishing the easiest part of life" Im sure Jackie will continue to thrive in all he does. Love you bud. alright I think that about wraps up this week other than many poolside sessions, visiting family and so forth. Im back up north for three nights of work then back to stg for some more fun (that revolves around jack once again haha).
