Well this last week I was back to working day shifts - booooo. It was ok, but man waking up early in the morning is just not my jam. Plus I'm just not used to the hustle and bustle of day shift anymore so it was a slap in the face. Im back to night shifts this week, but then right back to day shifts next week - booo. The good thing about right now is I don't have school. It's still the weirdest thing getting off of work and not having to do homework. I feel so free when all I have to do is complete three 12 hour shifts in a week - I can't believe the majority of people get to live like this it's so nice ahah. So after a busy work day on Thursday I texted Jesse to see if she was in town and she was! She just bought a basement room in a new house in vineyard so I went to check it out. I think she's excited to have her own space and move out of her parents place. After we moved some stuff in, we were hungry but it was pretty late so we hit up mickey dees. Nothing like some nuggets at 11pm. While eating out nuggs I asked jess if she would want to chop my hair off tonight. SO next thing ya know we are in her parents kitchen sink washing my hair haha.

Before
About 7 inches later - perks of having a hair dresser bestie.
And the next day with it all done up. It's been awhile since I had short hair, but I love it.
Friday and Saturday was the BYU track meet! The weather was actually perfect. Jackie ran the 800 and 1600m. Friday started out with what we thought was a PR, but sadly the timer was screwed up and therefore all the athletes were kinda screwed over.
Jackie eating a giant sandwich at jersey mikes after the 800. See mom he refueled big time! Saturday was the 1600m - wasnt a perfect race, but not every race can be. Running is just one big analogy for life and the lessons we learn. Sad that I only get to see jack race in one more meet, where the heck does the time go??? Region is this week in cedar and state is next weekend!
Mondays and Fridays my favorite reptile place has open handling and I haven't had a Monday or Friday off in months so I was wanting to take advantage of my Friday off. I made Madi come with me and I learned she's way more deathly afraid of snakes than I thought.
the amount of convincing I had to do to get this one picture was insane, but Id like to think I maybe helped her get over like 1% of her fear of snakes.
On the other hand this beautiful boa was a new snake to the store. Definitely enjoyed holding this massive, freaking heavy snake. Well I think that's about it. Ended my week (or I guess began the next week) with Sunday dinner at dremma's. And sprinkling in a few runs here and there. Which I need to go do right now - bye for now!
