Manti temple
As I look through my photos from this week there are not many. But that doesn't mean it wasnt a good week. I week I worked four shifts - first time in a while actually having to work my 8 hour shift. During school I use my vacation time to avoid working that shift every other week - it's been nice. Anyways, it was still a good week of night shifts, nothing to report. Im going to first skip to the highlight of the week - the Manti temple! As you all know, I have a goal this year to attend every Utah temple and Manti was one on the list that I still hadn't visited. It happens to be the Hursts temple so I thought it would be fun to invite them to come with me.
It's hard to explain but for some reason I feel closer to these people now more than ever, even when Erin was still alive. They truly do feel like a second family to me and I love them so much. It was a special day in the temple. It's already a place I can feel closer to Erin and especially when I was there with them. The Manti temple was probably the coolest temple Ive been to. I have never been to a temple where we moved as much as we did in this one. So many rooms representing each and every step of the way back to our father in heaven. No better way to spend my Saturday and it was fun visiting a new temple.
Mid week I had a random night off work which allowed some time to hang out with ash! Showed her one of my fav places - Fika. It was a blast of a night catching up and hanging out in the cold plunge (but mostly the steam room). We both agreed that our favorite time of life was our college days living together at the Branbury. It truly was a blast - if only life could be that chill still.
And lastly happy nurses week to those that celebrate haha. This cake was given to us by our medicine docs and I just had to take a picture because it made me laugh. It's the thought that counts right??
