I could get used to this...

And actually I am quite used to this wonderful life of mine at the moment - so much so that I'm lazy and keep putting off things I need to do *cough cough resume *cough cough. Looking at the bright side - its really the only thing I need to to at the moment and honestly its not like Im in a real big hurry anyways BUT it does need to get done and submitted to people soon. Thats just a little scary though. Anyways - life is great. Really no complaints. Work is good, Im still loving nightshift. My days off are greattt. Im healthy and happy and honestly those are my updates from the last two weeks. So here are a few random pics but other than that.... nothing too crazy is happening at the moment.

Been on a grind recently - eating a lot better and working out pretty much everyday. Leg day took place at the stairs last week - always a doozy

Hung out with my second favorite family at the timpanogos track meet where the twinners demolished in pretty much every event. Addie ran another PR in both the 1600 and 800m.

Carlie also ran a screamin' quick 300m hurdles to place 4th and get herself a PR as well. I'm gonna be sad next year when I have no reason to go to track meets anymore. I really do love track, but it's mostly fun to hang with the family and cheer on the girls (and see them kick butt).

this last week was spring break and I had the house to myself. What is it that Laynee does when she has a nice quiet house all to herself on a Friday night??? This ^^^

Pretty sunset from a hospital window.

Lots of running! which Im so so grateful for. I know ive made it to being a runner again because other things are starting to hurt rather than just my back. I think this run my calf was cramping up and today's run (Saturday) my arm was chaffing and my stomach cramping a bit. But I will take any of these other little aches and pains if it means my back is allowing me to run again.

Speaking of my wonderful back problems - I really have been good the last few months (I'm not even taking NSAIDs), but my doctor and I agreed to try out a different medication. Originally my injections never worked well enough for me to go off Naproxen. But since I graduated and passed boards, I think my body has finally calmed the freak down from a very stressful, awful year. And finally I was doing well on my meds, but I guess we'll try this new one anyways. It's pretty similar in mechanism of action - just different administration I believe. So yeah - Inflectra is my new drug. an infusion every 6 weeks, but Im gonna start with a few infusions closer together to get a good loading dose. It was nice to just take a nap in the chair and relax. It's weird using the warm blankets as a patient though - usually I use them while Im the nurse haha.

Friday morning I caught Jesse again!! I had her send me her work schedule so that I know every single day she has off and Friday was one of them so we did a little workout in the morning. Grabbed some chickfila breakfast then later that night we went to a bonfire (no pics bc it was pitch black) and I met Jesse's 5 bazillion friends. Not intimidating at all...

Well that wraps up my week. Here's a mirror selfie because I looked like a boy. It is now Sunday ( I couldn't quite stay awake to finish this post last night). A good testimony meeting at church today. Came home to meal prep and set myself up for the week. Now I'm chillin on the couch and gonna spend the night at Karee's playing games with her friends. There ya have it. Life's good.
