Well a day late, but here we go... gotta blog about yet again another missionary drop off. Luckily it's the last one so only homecomings from here on out woohoo! the worst day of the next two years is over with, but after talking with Jackie today I don't think it was that dreadful of a day for him. He seems to be living his best life sleeping in a room with six other dudes, playing spike ball and basketball oh and can't forget I think he's learning how to be a missionary as well - except he didn't talk much about his classes haha so actually I'm not sure on that one. Oh and jack did mention the maple donuts and creamery chocolate milk are "mid". Anyways... this last week mom, dad and Jack came up Wednesday morning - just in time for a lunch at cane's and straight to the MTC.
yes Im a bawl baby - sue me. Heaven forbid I love my brothers and I don't like to see them leave. So sorry for having a heart. But I am super excited for Jackie and to hear about all of his experiences.
Last selfie with Jack-a-bus
The dreaded MTC outer darkness garage. It was good to hear from him today and to see how happy he is. After the drop off mom, dad and I hit up Costco and then they hit the road back home to St. George.
Other highlights of the week - work was good, Katelyn stays over every Monday night and this week we had time to catch up over a three mile walk. I sure am grateful for the hursts and that they are still in my life.
Thursday I left work early and headed to St. George. The pine valley fire is still ablazing and man, it made for a pretty sunset. Well Im currently in Banff, Canada right now so that blog post will be coming at some point. I can't say soon, because the minute I touch down in America tomorrow I gotta get right back into the school grind. Alright, I miss jack, but Seth gets home NEXT WEEK!! woohoo!
