All about Jackie pt. 2

It's only appropriate to name the title this again because its true and everyone knows it. Dad sends out a weekly email to the fam and I swear for the past few weeks jack says "yeah, its all about me again" so I guess I might as well make the blog all about him too. I mean he won't be around at all the next two years so we can put the spotlight on him for a few weeks. Anyways - we are going to go over this week in reverse because Saturday afternoon was an important day for Jack. He entered the temple and made many special covenants with his Heavenly Father. So many family and friends were there to support him (and dad). To name a few - both grandmas, randy, Jeremy, Kason, Nikki, Lauri & James, the K wells fam, the Morrisons, Dawn and her husband, the simisters, the Mcarthurs, Bishop Garr, the Larsen's (Tucker is going through on Tuesday) and hopefully I'm not forgetting anyone else. It was a blast and I'm impressed how much jack already understands the temple. He's more than ready to head out on his mission, that's for sure.

Wish we couldve gotten a picture with everyone. There is nothing better than being in the temple with all your closest people.

Rewinding a little bit more and late Saturday morning was spent in pine valley planting the garden!

Quite a warm day in pine valley, but beautiful and always a good time being up there. It makes me sad knowing once July hits I probably won't have time to get back up to pine valley this summer due to school. The MVPs of the morning were definitely the duo of Jack and Jeremy cranking out all the rows of corn in the time all the other rows were done by everyone else.

Saturday morning started with a 0430 wake up call to run 10 miles down the marathon course. We all had our issues - chafing, cramping, sharting and so forth but we all crushed it overall and it was super fun. And quite literally perfect conditions. See - Saturday really was a great day. And Im happy to say my back felt great and still no pain the day after so half marathon here I come.

The rest of the week included a fun girls night with grandma. Corndog truck and DQ for the win! Me and grams know how to have a good time. My work week was good - busy for nights but good. I met up with Ash one night for dinner which was also a highlight of my few days spent up north. We also fit in a morning of dad flying up to SLC to get his tooth fixed. Busy week, but a very good week. And next week will be even better ;) stay tuned.
